How to Explore Principals Taught In the Secret

As you live your life right now, today, you are doing one of two things. You are either growing or you are dyeing. Just like a plant, there is no standing still. There are just two possible paths you can be on.

Ask yourself this question, "If you can only accept what you currently know and believe, you have already reached your full potential. Have you reached your full potential and are you done growing?

If your answer is yes, start looking for your final resting place. If your answer is no, then the world offers you many adventures. There are many ideas for you to consider and explore and certainly, the idea that you are in control of your destiny is one that empowers you and allows you to dream.

The principals taught in the move The Secret show us that we attract everything that is in our lives. We attract the good and the bad. Some have difficulty accepting that they have attracted poverty, bad relationships and all the other unwanted aspects of their lives. For others, simply taking the time to examine how their lives have unfolded thus far offer the proof they need to realize how they subconsciously attracted what they didn't want.

One friend explained how she had always told others and herself that her lack of education held her back. Now she realizes that it was her feelings and not her education that slowed her progress. Another friend realized that his bad relationships were the result of his underlying belief that he would need to make sacrifices in that area if he wanted to achieve success in business. Until recently, he had never felt that he could have success in both areas of his life.

Expressing gratitude is definitely step one for anyone beginning to implement the principals taught in The Secret. Anyone who takes the first baby steps to list what they are grateful for in their lives will experience profound benefits. Too many people concentrate on what they are lacking in their lives and in doing so, attract more of what they don't want.

In his book "Thanks" Dr Robert Emmons subjects the benefits of gratitude to the scrutiny of science. Emmo5B1ns research suggests that those who are grateful for what they have tended to be happier. His studies indicate that people who practice grateful thinking experience emotional, physical, and interpersonal benefits.

Seeing is believing and there is empirical data to see.
