Solar Power Your Home

How much are you currently paying for electricity each month? Have you ever wished you could "shop around" for power companies? It seems like if they had more competition they might be forced to lower their prices a little bit. But as it is, we don't get to choose our utility company, competition does not influence pricing, and we are forced to pay the rising energy costs or else go without power and that's certainly not an option!

Solar Power is becoming more and more popular as energy costs continue to rise and environmental conditions worsen. Because you are using renewable energy, you are saving the earth whereas your utility company uses energy from non-renewable resources. In the same way as the gas we use for our vehicles, the electricity used to power our homes is quickly depleting our natural resources. Using solar power will allow you to do your part to save our earth.

It is simple and easy to do, and all of the supplies you need are available at your local hardware store. Plus it doesn't take long at all. You can choose whether you want to install a couple and greatly reduce your utility bill, or if you want to add several and become energy independent. Many people choose to completely power their home using only solar power.

You can use solar power to run even your largest appliances, such as your refrigerator, washer or dryer. The energy is stored to continue to power your home even during storms when your normal power is out. (Be careful of this though, your neighbors may catch on and flock to your house during power outages)!
